Product Introduction
A Sleeve Anchor with a flange nut is a type of expansion anchor used to secure objects to solid materials like concrete, brick, or block. It consists of a threaded stud with a cone-shaped end, an expandable sleeve, and a flange nut. The flange nut helps distribute the clamping force over a wider area, preventing damage to the material.
1. Strength and Durability: Metal anchors are generally stronger than plastic options and can hold heavier items. This makes them suitable for applications where the insulation needs to withstand wind pressure or other forces.
2. Fire Resistance: Metal anchors are often preferred when fire resistance is a key consideration, as they are made from non-combustible materials.
3. Secure Fixing: They provide a secure and stable connection for insulation, preventing it from shifting or dislodging.
4. Versatility: Metal insulation anchors can be used with a wide range of insulation materials, including mineral wool, EPS, and rigid foam boards, and can be fixed to various substrates like concrete, brick, or metal.
5. Ease of Installation: Some metal anchors are designed for easy installation, often requiring a simple hammering or driving action.
6. Corrosion Resistance: Many metal insulation anchors are galvanized or made from stainless steel to provide resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-term performance.
7. Thermal Bridging Mitigation: Metal insulation anchors can contribute to reducing thermal bridging, which is the transfer of heat through materials.

Product Operate Guide
1. Drill the Hole:
Use a hammer drill and a drill bit of the same diameter as the sleeve anchor. Ensure the hole is deep enough to accommodate the anchor's embedment length plus a little extra.
2. Clean the Hole:
Remove all dust and debris from the drilled hole using a wire brush, vacuum, or compressed air.
3. Position the Fixture:
Place the fixture (the object being fastened) over the hole, making sure the hole in the fixture is large enough for the anchor.
4. Insert the Anchor:
Push the sleeve anchor through the fixture and into the hole. The flange nut and washer should be flush with the fixture.
5. Tighten the Nut:
Tighten the flange nut with a wrench until it is snug. Then, continue turning it 3-4 full turns or until the specified installation torque is reached. Avoid over-tightening, as this can damage the threads or the base material.
