Fastening wood or metal fixtures to hard masonry requires a nail with extraordinary hardness. Donghuang provides Concrete Nail products made from specialized high-carbon steel, subjected to a unique heat-treatment process that allows them to pierce brick and cured concrete without shattering. These nails are the standard for mounting base plates, electrical components, and heavy brackets to concrete walls, providing a quick and effective alternative to drilling and using expansion anchors.
A concrete nail must be harder than the material it penetrates. Donghuang concrete nails are designed with high hardness values (HRC) to ensure they do not dull or bend upon initial contact with the masonry. Our fluted-shank variants are particularly effective, as they create a "screw-like" effect during the driving process, which increases the friction against the concrete and enhances the pull-out resistance. We offer both bright and galvanized versions to ensure that our concrete nails remain rust-free even when embedded in naturally alkaline or damp concrete environments.
